The Student Pickup Line system is designed to make school pickups safer, faster, and easier for parents. By using technology like license plate recognition, real-time notifications, and secure check-ins, this system solves common pickup problems:

2. Accessing the System
Registering and Logging In
- Download or access the PLACA.AI Pickup Line app/website as directed by your school.
- Register using your email, phone number, or a school-provided code.
- Create a password and confirm your account.
- If you have multiple children or belong to more than one school, you can add and switch between them in your profile.
Switching Between Children/Schools:
- Use the dashboard or profile menu to view all your linked students.
- Select the child or school you want to manage for pickup.
3. Main Features for Parents
Queuing for Pickup
- As you approach the school, your vehicle’s license plate is recognized by school cameras (ONVIF-certified).
- You are automatically added to the pickup queue.
- You’ll see your position in line and estimated wait time.
Real-Time Notifications
- Receive instant notifications when your child is ready for pickup.
- Get alerts for any changes, such as delays or important messages from the school.
Check-In Process
- License Plate Recognition: Just drive up; your arrival is detected automatically.
