Getting Started
How do I apply?
Submit your application at placa.ai/affiliate-apply. We review every application personally and respond within 1-2 business days. There is no minimum follower count or revenue requirement for the standard affiliate program.
Is there a cost to join?
No. The affiliate program is free to join. There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or minimum performance requirements.
How is the influencer program different from the standard affiliate program?
The standard affiliate program pays commissions on completed sales and is open to anyone. The influencer program is for social media creators with engaged audiences – it includes flat fees per sponsored piece of content, free hardware for demo use, and custom landing pages. Commissions and Payments
What are the commission rates?
- New direct customer (any plan): $150 flat OR 20% of first month, whichever is higher
- White label Starter Partner referred: $250 (plus 5% of monthly fee for 6 months)
- White label Growth Partner referred: $450 (plus 5% of monthly fee for 6 months)
- White label Enterprise Partner referred: $750-$1,500 (plus 5% of monthly fee for 6 months)
- Hardware sale: 5% of sale value
- Annual plan upgrade bonus: $75
When are commissions paid?
Commissions are held for 30 days after the customer’s first payment to allow for any refunds or cancellations. After the hold period, approved commissions are paid on the 15th of the following calendar month via PayPal or ACH bank transfer.
What is the minimum payout?
$100. If your pending balance is under $100, it carries forward to the next payment cycle automatically.
What currencies are supported?
Payments are made in US dollars regardless of where the referred customer is located.
Are commissions recurring?
For direct customer referrals, commission is paid once on the first payment. For white label partner referrals, you earn the upfront setup fee commission PLUS 5% of the monthly platform fee for 6 consecutive months. So a Growth Partner referral generates income for 7 months total.
Tracking and Attribution
How long does the affiliate cookie last?
90 days. Anyone who clicks your unique affiliate link and makes a purchase within 90 days is attributed to your account – even if they visit the site multiple times before converting.
What happens if someone clicks multiple affiliate links?
PLACA.AI uses last-click attribution. The most recent affiliate link clicked before purchase receives the commission credit.
How do I see my stats?
Your GoAffPro affiliate dashboard shows real-time data on clicks, leads generated, conversions, pending commissions, and paid commissions. Access it at placa.ai/affiliate-portal after logging in.
What counts as a qualified lead for influencer partners?
A qualified lead is a contact form submission or demo request where the person provides valid business information (company name, business email, phone number) and has not already been in contact with our sales team within the previous 90 days. We notify you when a lead from your content meets the qualification threshold.
Sales Team and Deal Registration
Does PLACA.AI have a sales team?
Yes. PLACA.AI has an in-house sales team that actively prospects, qualifies, and closes deals. Affiliates and influencers work alongside this team – not in competition with them.
What happens if my referral also gets contacted by a PLACA.AI sales rep?
If your affiliate cookie is active or you have registered the deal, you receive your commission regardless of sales team involvement. Our sales team helps close your referrals – that is a benefit to you, not a risk. The company pays both the sales rep and the affiliate commission. These budgets are separate.
What is Deal Registration and should I use it?
Deal Registration lets you formally flag a specific company or individual as a prospect you are actively working to refer. When you register a deal in your affiliate dashboard, it is tagged in our CRM, which protects your commission even if the sales team independently contacts the same prospect later. We recommend registering any deal where you have had a direct conversation with the prospect about PLACA.AI.
How long does Deal Registration protection last?
90 days from registration. If the prospect has not converted within 90 days, the registration expires and can be re-submitted.
Content and Promotion Rules
Are there restrictions on how I promote PLACA.AI?
Yes. The following are prohibited:
- Paid search ads bidding on PLACA.AI brand terms (placa.ai, placa AI, placa license plate)
- Misleading claims about product features, pricing, or results
- Spam, unsolicited bulk email, or fake review content
- Promoting to audiences outside supported markets without prior approval
Can I run my own Google or Facebook ads?
Yes, with one restriction: you may not bid on PLACA.AI brand keywords. Ads targeting relevant audiences (property managers, HOA management software, parking management software) using your affiliate link are permitted and encouraged.
Do I need to disclose the affiliate relationship in my content?
Yes, and this is required by FTC guidelines. Any content that includes your affiliate link or discount code must clearly disclose that it is a paid partnership or that you earn a commission on referrals. Our affiliate agreement includes specific disclosure language you can use.
Can I create a dedicated review website or landing page for PLACA.AI?
Yes. Many of our highest-earning affiliates operate dedicated review pages or comparison articles that rank in Google search. You may use PLACA.AI brand name and product images (from our approved asset library) in this content.
Program Rules and Account Management
Can my affiliate account be terminated?
Yes. Violation of the affiliate agreement – including prohibited promotion methods, fraudulent referrals, or brand misrepresentation – results in account termination and forfeiture of pending commissions. We audit affiliate activity monthly.
Can I have multiple affiliate links?
Your GoAffPro account generates one primary tracking link, but you can create custom tracking sub-IDs within that link to track performance across different platforms or content pieces. For example, you can have separate tracking codes for your YouTube content, your email newsletter, and your LinkedIn posts.
What if I want to upgrade from affiliate to white label partner?
You can upgrade at any time. Upgrading to white label does not terminate your affiliate account – you can continue earning affiliate commissions on referrals while also operating your own branded white label platform. Contact your partner manager to discuss the transition.
