The dashboard is an overview of the camera’s activity. It includes the plate number of the last scanned plate and a summary of the number of plates that have been scanned over the past week.

Setting Up New Devices
Setting up a new device onto the platform is easy and quick. The software supports any ONVIF compliant IP camera with a resolution of 720p or higher. You can connect new devices with a QR code or manually input your information.

To register a new device manually, you will need to input the camera’s public IP address, its port, and the camera’s login information. Registering a device will require port forwarding.

PLACA.AI allows you to connect multiple cameras in various locations. Simply click on the “Manage Devices” link on the off-canvas menu and view the individual camera stream or review the scanned plates.

Viewing Scanned Plates
When viewing the scanned plates, PLACA.AI will provide a screenshot and video of the vehicle along with information such as the make, model, color, and year. It system will also provide the percentage of accuracy for better analysis.

Users can choose to select scanned plates to “bookmark” which will be saved in the “Bookmarks” tab of the menu for later viewing.
