What Is a Cloud Gate Access Audit Log?
A cloud gate access audit log is a continuous, tamper-resistant digital record of every vehicle entry event at a gated property. Unlike keypad logs that only show “code 1234 was entered at 9:47 AM,” Placa.ai’s audit log captures the vehicle license plate image, the plate number, the timestamp to the second, the access decision (authorized / unauthorized), and which access list the vehicle matched or failed to match.
These logs are stored in the cloud indefinitely, searchable by plate number, date, time, or access outcome, and accessible from any browser or mobile device at any time. They can be exported for insurance claims, police reports, legal proceedings, and lien documentation.
